Meet The Dream Team
Adriana L. Byrum
Founder/Creator/Lead Photographer
When I think back to all the hours I spent on continuing education, photography wasn’t even on my radar. My time was dedicated to crunching numbers for a Finance degree, navigating the fast-paced world of sales at start-ups, and now working in the oil and gas industry. But I have had a camera in my hand since Kodak disposables.
Thankfully, every one of my roles has provided me with valuable skills that translate directly into running my own business. As your primary photographer, I’m the face behind the lens but this venture has grown into something much bigger. Today, I’m fortunate to have an amazing team by my side, which includes my husband Ben and our close friend Jonathan. Together, we bring over 15 years of combined experience in photography, business, writing, and producing to every project.
Ben Byrum
Writer/Operations Lead/Ordained Minister
I have always had a dream of being a writer. I appreciate seeing a blank piece of paper and bringing it to life with the art of words. I have been blessed and fortunate to have had 2 articles published in the Houston Chronicle. I currently serve as a contributing author for a men’s devotional magazine called Stand Firm published by Lifeway Christian Resources. And I am currently working on publishing a Christian children’s book.
Writing for Purpose Photography and setting up the equipment gives me a front row seat into one of the greatest gifts of my life: seeing my wife utilize her gift and capture memories to be cherished for a lifetime. Between shoots and maintaining equipment, I am also enrolled in seminary to become a chaplain and am an ordained minister. We look forward to meeting you and bringing to life the vision you have in mind.
Jonathan Doty
Producer/Designer/Second Shooter
As a producer and second photographer at Purpose Photography, Jonathan combines his passion for visual storytelling with a decade of experience in media production at WHCC.
With a deep love for videography and a vision to one day make films, he sees each project as a chance to capture more than just images—it’s about preserving the emotion and essence behind every frame.
